INTIMATE, WOODSY OREGON WEDDING

This wedding was intimate, thoughtful, and detailed. The guests and couple of honor spent several days on site camping, hanging out together, without service or distractions.

The Bride and Groom planned everything from their home in the Midwest, flew across the country with a rug and wedding gown in hand, and watched as their vision in the woods fully came to life!

Their decor was mostly thrifted by the Groom’s mother, and the variety of vases, bright flowers, and candlesticks created a magical, vintage vibe. An airstream full of character and nostalgia. A box of chocolates that the Groom’s grandparents exchanged back and forth for 50 years, filled with fresh chocolates and gifted to the Bride. A rug and florals for the riverside ceremony. The details were PERFECTION.

The guest list was also carefully thought out. Everyone in attendance was handpicked by the Bride and Groom, and the atmosphere created from their love and connection is what made the day unforgettable.

The highlight of all were the toasts given during the reception. Jon & Becca were described by their family and friends in a personal, meaningful way. They talked about Jon’s love language of “effort” that he has shared with them all as he has pursued friendships throughout his life. They described Becca’s easygoing nature and ability to befriend anyone, her love of giraffes and incredible ability to support the people in her life. They told the story of Jon and Becca’s decade-long relationship with each other that has endured cross-country moves, intense schooling, and so much more. These two are fully known and fully loved by the people in their lives.

Here is a peek at their wedding day that represented their life together so well! It was one of my favorites, ever.

Thanks for being here! See you next time.

Love,

Kelsey
